halo 3 quesiton help me?

okay so ive watched a few things on youtube (cutscenes) and im wondering

why is it the final cutscene that arbiter and cheif ride into the ship fly away yet the arbiter is on earth and chief is outside halo drifting through space (he locks himself in the cryo tube)

how does chief get to a halo ring? and if so how does the arbiter get off of it yet chief dousnt

when the prophet of truth is killed is he on earth?...if so why is gravemind there...


does anyone know were the general outine of the story can be found///or could you give me one...THANKS ALOT K THX BAI
