what is the easiest way to get your skill up in online play? ive had around 250 matches now and it is still on 6 . i tink it may be because i hardly do ranked matches but am not sure (this is because i am always playing with my brother in splitscreen). could someone pls answer this, would be very grateful.

Experience and skill are related to how well you rank in each match. If you are consistanly in the bottom of the match rankings, your skill and experience will never increase.

It sounds like you just started playing Halo. Keep playing and in 6 months to a year you will rank up. If you want to get good your gonna have to stop playing team games and stick to hours of lone wolves.

Play alone and you will get good.

You are right, you need to do more ranked matches. Have your brother create a gamertag with an email address that you havent used. Xbox live will give him a month free so that you both will be able to play in ranked matches, it'll boost up your level and allow him to play under his own profile still doing a split screen.

team games are good, just play as well as u can, listen to tips from other players, and if ur on the winning team u should do pretty well in points.

Or get a few guys who have high points, and some friends with low points and party then search, u can raise by 2-3 EXP points per game lol
