Halo 3 question?

on halo 3 i was lookin at the list of achievements and it says 10 points per mission if you get 15,000 points in the meta-game. I know all about the campaign scoring and stuff but when i get 15,000 points it doesn't give me the achievement. Why? Please help me.

Also if you know the terminal locations in the game and how to activate them that would be great!

terminals- check youtube (press RB at them)

meta game- when in campaign lobby,hit X then change it to TEAM, then activate four skulls of choice (i use: famine, thunder, fog, and catch)
also, use NORMAL diffuculty and try to complete the missions fast

you have to make sure you set the campaign scoring to free for all.......and i know that there are 3 terminals on the arc.....but you can look for them on yourube and to activate them you have to make sure all your party members are infront of it....then press rb.....after that wait untill the letters on the screen turn red. then just back out
