Halo 3 rank grrr?

Hey, I'm a staff captain(yes I know) but I don't suck, honestly. (except when I first start playing halo after a few days) It really annoys me when people go " ha, a staff captain, that must mean you suck! and when i play and kick their ass, they still call me a faggot. and I laugh at them, but thats besides the point. I just hate it when people tease you because of rank. I've been trying to get my rank up for ages, and all i play is team slayer, and everytime I get sucky team-mates and my rating plummets. I don't think I'll ever reach 30.(I'm 28 btw) but its really frusterating and I don't know how I can win because I always get sucky players. How can I get my skill up fast without having morons for my team mates? And I also hate it when people betray me and kill me for fun just because I'm a girl. Girl's can play video games too, to all those guys out there who think girls can't be Kick arse gamers

to raise your rank through a team based game, you MUST assemble a party. i tried to get my rank up by joining matches on my own, but there's just no teamwork. you get people with no mic's, people that dont back you up, people that fight over the sniper, people that kill each other for the sniper, and people that just suck. you gotta get people on your friends list that are skilled and know how to be team players. I'd help, but I'm stuck on gta4, cod4, and some dynasty warriors games... I've almost given up on halo. and that's kinda scary.

Your rank in my oppinion just shows how much time you dedicate into the game. It has no meaning. I havent had live in a while since I moved, and people would say I suck because my rank hasent gone up.

When I meet a girl on Halo 3, she never talks...whats up with that?

Anyways, heres my advice. Don't be too aggressive. Let THEM come to you. Focus on killing people, thats your first objective-don't get caught up in finding power weapons.

Also, follow your teammates. This way when you both encounter someone you can double team him. Thats all I know...I'm a lvl 46 Brigadier(sp).

What you should do to level up your skill level quickly is join lone wolves. In it all you gotta do is place top three and you'll eventually rank up. If you don't wanna do that, I suggest you get some pro/good friends that would play with you in team slayer.
