halo 3 rank not increasing with wins?

My highest rank is 32 in Lone Wolves, and 22 in almost everything else. My problem is, I haven't ranked up in at least a month. A friend and I were playing doubles, and won 5 games in a row. He started at 20, and is now a 24 and I still have not gained a rank from winning. Can someone tell me why I can't rank up?

Halo is based on the True-Skill ranking system, in which its name describes itself. Say you've won 10 games in a row. This would most likely bring your skill level up at least one time, but not as much as losing 1, winning 2, losing 1, winning 2, etc. So don't worry if you don't rank up, it's just because you are doing well, and if you win some more you are bound to rank up soon!
