Halo 3 Regular Editon?

It wont play Floodgate (campaign level) and im pretty sure my disk is scratched. any SAFE methods of fixing the disk/ getting that level back? It is the only thing wrong with the disk.

Um. My call of duty 4 disc got scratched pretty badly..i couldn't play it at all. I found a forum about some guy who typed up nearly a page on how he fixed his scratches disc with some smooth chapstick and a very smooth non linen cloth to clean it. I promise im not trying to scam you or screw up your disc more. Put chapstick all over the scratches( wherever they are) and then use maybe a baby cloth or something very smooth that wont leave lint and clean very thoroughly for about 2 minutes. Make sure NO chapstick is in the cracks when you put it in your drive. It worked on my call of duty so it should work for you. Give it a shot. Once you apply the chapstick wipe it off immediately

put toothpaste on the disk all around, let it sit for about 5 minutes and rinse it off with warm water (it really works) (when you put the toothpaste on, rub it in in small circles)
