Mainly just by playing well and your skill level will get higher and higher the better you get

Play in a ranked match that helps alot even though u get kill'd alot but it'll soon pay off. Or if u have a friend who has dat game and is nice ask him to train wit u.

If you know any high level players, team up with them and if you win a lot at those high levels, your skill rank should increase rather quickly.
