halo 3 Vanguard, Ranger achievement?

hi i have a hard time trying to get this achievements, played the missions in legendery without dying one time and i still didn't get 50000 points people tells me to turn all the skulls on but when i do that the aimer goes away which makes everything harder is there anything i can do to bring that aimer back wild the skulls are on, if i put the skulls under team and i get more than 50000 do i get the achievement eventhough its under team, if there is anyway to turn the aimer on while the skulls are on please let me know because is so hard to play without an aimer or is there any easier way to do it please let me know
