halo 3 vidmaster achievements for recon?

theres a rumor i've heard going round that being able to get the vidmasters for recon is going to stop this friday. i really need to know if this is true because all my friends are making a big deal about it so please help me.

No, as long as you completed all vidmaster achievements and you log onto a bungie.net account and click get recon you will still be able to get recon. Besides no need to make a big deal out of it if thousands of players are going to wear it. It's Hayabusa/Katana all over again...
