Halo 3 vs Halo 3: ODST?

Hey I know that Halo 3 has it that you can have more than one person on the same xbox and play online splitscreen in public matches against other people. But my question was is if this goes the same for ODST?

Can you you have other people signed in as guests on your xbox and play online with them in Halo 3 odst?

i think you can only different is that halo odst got all halo maps from every halo so if heard i'm getting it soon to and i heard you can get acces to halo reach beta version

odst freaking sucks. return it and get another halo 3. just have 2 halo 3s. that will work fine.
