Halo 3 wont work in my Xbox?

i've tried everything from that stupid little xx right bumper left bumper xx or what ever i've contacted xbox live they didnt help much just said my game disc might be from a different region what ever that means and its not scratched its in perfect condition and the weird thing i put it in my xbox it loads up the menu i click on any game type like custom match it loads the map normaly goes up 50-60% then jumps to 100% then i click on start game it freezes me up in a black screen and i have to press the xbox button 2 unlock it any ideas on how ican fix this?

do you mean 360 because if ur trying to put in a xbox, you just wasted $60
if your talking about the 360 its either the game or your machine. take it back and get a new copy if it still doesnt work call microsoft
