Halo 3 Xbox Live Connection Problem?

My friend and I try to join each other on Halo 3, but we can't. It says "You may have incompatible network types." We both have Open NAT. Please help, and thanks

Well evryone are having problems getting online because of the halo 3 players so u should wait for it to settle down
