a) halo 3 is not appropriate for anyone under 18 years of age.
b) you wish, last time I played a halo which was part 2 you couldn't turn off the gore.
I may enjoy violent games but I don't want children playing them until they can fully understand that there is a fine line in what kind behavior is acceptable and what isn't and that they shouldn't repeat anything seen in any M rated game.

Dear Dr,
14 when you were a kid is not the same as 14 now. Most 14 year olds know the difference between real life gore and video game gore. If his mommy and daddy don't what him playing it then fine, but I would have no problem with a 14 year old playing Halo. In fact, one of my best teammates is 13, which is also the same age most websites require a child to be. Trust me Dr, he will see way scarier things on the 13 and up websites.

If it's OK with your parents kiddo, go for it. Oh and have fun.

Your 13 dude , grow some balls . 4 more years and you could be in the military serving in Iraq . But yea you can turn off that content . And besides , its alien blood not human , and its only blood not like Gears of War where theres brains and guts . Halo is made for all ages .
