Halo Movie Still.....?

I have heard that the Halo movie was stopped but I still hear people talking about one comming. So, what is it?

Is there going to be a Halo movie or not? I am sick of the run-around about this.

Halo was officially cancelled in Nov 2007 after 2 design teams failed to work together.

There have been rumors of a new director and attempt but nothing official has been done
