halo movie?

I heard a rumour that Halo the movie was coming out does anyone know anything about it?

The script is written, but disagreements over distribution rights have repeatedly sent this project in and out of pre-production. Some of those involved have said the project is "dead", but Peter Jackson, the executive producer, continues to claim that this film will get made.


But seriously, I wish they would stop making movies based on video games. There hasn't been a good one yet and that includes Resident Evil. Anyone who thinks RE was a good series is fooling themselves. Besides that if we stopped make movies based on them Uwe Boll would be out of work and we could put the money used to produce them to good use... Like paying someone to off Boll.

Yes, and they great part about it is, THE players that own a 360 and Halo 3, will be the ones actually making the movie. Most dont know that. That beautiful file share program they have for Halo, was a BRILLIANT idea. I have sources that tell that, Microsoft will be holding a contest to see who makes the best cut scenes. There is a HUGE prize reward.

oh god I hope not....that will totally ruin Halo. Unless anyone can ever name any movie based on a video game that has been good at all????
