when is the halo movie coming out?if you don't know about it go to yahoo!images and type in halo there will be a white guy and earth begind him?anyone know

Halo was in danger due to a lack of funding but Fox have now purchased the production rights from Universal and have announced the project will go on with an advanced release date of 2009.Its being produced by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings, King Kong etc) and directed by Neill Blomkamp (best known as an animator and visual effects man on Smallville and Stargate)

Halo has had some studio problems but looks to be back on track. The image you refer to on Yahoo is a fake teaser - the movie's not in production yet, let alone done, so someone with high expectations was evidently messing around with Photoshop. Peter Jackson and the LOTR team is behind the production - so if it stays on track, it should be good (although he's not directing, he hand-picked Blomkamp (sp?) to do that gig while PJ produces).
