HELP with halo 3 campain?

ok i stopped at the part umm the covanant. its when we have to shut down 3 towers. you, arbiter, and johnson are split into teams. you and arbiter succeed but johnson is cought up with truth. yeah anyways i saved at that point like deep in the chapter. then my brother goes back in the story when the flood come in right after truth activates this huge portal to find a skull there. he couldnt find it so he saved and quit. when he went back to were i left off which is the covanent we had to restart all the way to the beginning. what happened and how can i get back to were i was??? oh and this whole thing is on the level Heroic.

i'm confused by what you wrote, do you mean your bro played it and you can now not see the cutscene and what happened? or did you mean you have to start from the beginning? anyway you gotta load a separate file from the start menu from different checkpoints to get you back to the game without playing the parts you did on the covenant, however beware that this may also cause you not to get the GP in the end for heroic.

yeah i dont care what level its on, its all the same, if we're bragging i along with most people have completed the solo on ledgendary.
To answer your question, it seems someone restarted the level which means you lost all current progress. If im wrong then you should be able to get to your saved point when going on campaign from the main menu.
ps I presume your getting the silver skull to get the hyabusa helmet, i personally don't like the helmet and don't think its worth the effort.. the full hyabusa suit has become way too overused, its boring.

Im not bragging, im saying the creator is. Yes i know online and skills determine how good you are but online is really easy. I have played 240 games and am level 50 in both lone wolves and team doubles.
