Yes. I know, it sucks... MS should at least allow free multiplayer for their last gen games.

XBox live costs $50 a year if you buy the 12 month card. You can buy lesser amounts (1 month and 3 month) but they come out to more per month than the $50 12 month card.

You have to connect AND buy the membership card.

You can get the card at any chain or video game store. For the time on the card (1, 3, or 12 months) you can play online as much as you want. Once the card expires you have to buy another.
