How can I beat Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST on Legendary diffculty?

I've been playing for hours and only got through the first level of Halo 3 and haven't got to ODST yet. Any ideas?

Yeah dude i just got another friend and kep playing and playing until we beat it on legendary.

Get someone who is good at halo to play with you.

Use the BR, until you reach the flood at least for Halo 3... And stay back and try to pick them off one by one. It will take longer but you won't die very often.

I haven't beat ODST yet but I would use the pistol for grunts and jackals, then when brutes come havbe a plasma pistol to get rid of their shields then punch them.

I beat Halo 3 on Legendary all by myself

serious answer. get some friends to play co-op so much easier

Just get 3 more people to play co-op with you and it will be easy.
