hey i also play halo.. i play online my tag is nano10
well one way to be vey good at halo is always throw grenades is really works for me.

Here are some tip:
1. like i said through grenade
2.use motion sensor
3.have a good combo of guns. ex. sniper shotgun. br shotgun.
4.if u are playing with them screen look. its cheep but i works

Play the game on the highest difficulty level. It may be frustrating or seem impossible, but it will continually force you to get better and better.

Also, you've got to determine your weaknesses and figure out how he manages to beat you. When we used to play Turok 2, some of my buddies got so good at it, they would know where I would spawn and kill me before I could even grab a weapon, so I got very good at headshots with the crossbow lol

you can only get better by playing harder players. Try doing the campaign on legendary with all skulls on

I would try setting your look sensitivity so you can turn as quickly as possible. You can do this in the Pause, Settings menu. It makes all kills easier, namely sniping. It takes a little getting used to, but it is certainly a weapon if used correctly.

Also try getting into some ranked matchmaking games if you have Xbox Live and try to move up the ranks and find challenging opponents. If you don't have Live than you could try the campaign on either heroic or (if you can handle it) legendary....
