Ok, earlier I installed Halo: Combat Evolved on my Laptop. I tried to play it but my Acceleration Hardware was disabled and I couldn't enable it. About a month later, it enables itself and I said "great!", but unfortunately it still gives me an error when running it. When I check "Can it Run" from Google, it says that everything is ok and checked, but the video card can't support it, which I thought was weird because long time ago, I was able to play Halo on this same computer, but had to erase my whole computer due to a virus. So now that I have installed everything and that my Acceleration Hardware are all enabled, how come my video card says that it can't support it? I played it way back and now it gives me this error:
-Fatal Error-
A problem occurred initializing DirectDraw. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG.
Machine Info: 1900MHz, 2048MB
What can I do to play this game again? It didn't have this problem before the acceleration hardware were disabled.
