How do I get 1.08 or newer severs on 1.07 of Halo PC?

i have tryed downloading the update it dont work but it allows me to go on 1.07 severs still but all the severs are crap and there are none to choose from so can u tell me a possible way to get 1.08 or newer severs on 1.07 and please do not give me links or info on how to update 1.07 cos i have tryed and it jsut doesnt work so please answer this question thankyou.
