how do i get better at halo 3?

im already at the time pretty good but it feels like im not getting any better , i only use the shotgun , assault rifle and sometimes battle rifle ,

grenades are a big thing for me I would practice bouncing them around thourhing over things and timing they are very good for quick kills, dual wielding like the SMG you should alternate fire It will stop you from losing the aim. and the biggest way to get better is to play against others that are better than you you will allways learn something

You can get better at them by playing both Campaign and Multiplayer. Seeing that you favor mid-range weapons, that is good enough for now.

If you wanna test your skills at sniping, try making a sniping slayer game in any maps with your friends. If you get better at sniping, try doing no scope. No scope is by far one of the hardest skill to perform (I'm not talking about achievements).

Dual wielding is also good to improve your game experiance. Making a good combo is essential to winning (Not iusing the newb combo). Try practicing using one covenant weapon on one hand and a human weapon in the other. Covenant destroys shields pretty fast while human weapons kills them faster when they are unshielded.

Rockets and support weapons (Missile Pod and Machine Gun) are kinda noobish and doing the Newb Combo doesn't improve your skills.
