How do you build your own levels and custom games in halo 3?

I know about the forge and all, but people make maps that look totally different than the original on bungie.net. Also, people make games with special shields, and invisibility and stuff, how do you do that?

if you're the host in a custom game, you hit x in the lobby to change the settings. you can change your shields, what weapons you have, how fast you move, and how much gravity there is. then when you get into the game you pause and save the game varient (all the settings you just changed) and then you can name it anything you like!

you can delete alot of stuff in forge then completely restart building so it's a little above filling the map with tanks and banshees. go to the game type, from the lobby, and press "X" you can figure it out from there

What you do is you go to custam games. Go to select game type. Then push I beleieve "x" to edit it. From their you change every aspect of how the game is played. Including invincability.
