I’m traveling soon with some confidential work documents on my laptop. I’m a bit worried about theft or data leaks. Any practical tips to avoid trouble?

I had the same issue last year while traveling to Asia with client contracts. What helped me was encrypting all my files and backing them up to a secure cloud. Even if your device is stolen, they can’t open the files. I also try to use a VPN whenever I connect to Wi-Fi in hotels or airports — it really reduces the risks.
