O.K. I have been going over to my friends house to play halo 3 for the past year and a half. I played so often that he let me create a xbox live profile on his xbox 360 using his gamer tag. I never thought I would, but I finally got an xbox 360 for myself. Is there a way to get my profile from his to mine, or am I just a noob that knows nothing about how xbox live works, because I am. Please help a confused gamer brethren and tell me how it does, or doesn't, work.

How do you switch a halo 3 profile form one gamertag to another.?

Have him(or her) take his hardrive(or memory card) over to your xbox and you can put your profile on there.
