How does halo 3 online work?

I got some questions:

1. Are you able to talk to your team mates? And is there a way to direct to who your talking to?

2. In campaign, is there co-op? And is there a way to play co-op in camaign online with others?

3. Can you play all the games (Capture the flag, Slayer etc.) online?

1. You can talk to your teammates, but there is no way to direct who you are talking to.

2. There is co-op in campaign. Both online and off. Up to four people.

3. Yes you can.
