How does Halo Reach tie in with Halo 1?

How does the ending with halo reach tie in with the halo 1 beginning, im trying to understand and might need some extra information

IN HELL IT DOES, Halo Combat Evolved is the best of them all, It's just a classic game. I love it so much because I'm 14 right now and I played them game when I was like 7, I just remember always ringing up my freinds and going online and playing CTF and raping with banshies and stuff like that... Good Memories. Anyway that's just my personal opinion. HALO 1 FTW

Although I guess Halo Reach is still pretty damn good =P

Halo's story is supposed to be before halo 1 and is supposed to show how everything got started.

you obviously havnt played halo combat evolved (Halo 1) this is the best game begginer for a franchise how do you not get it halo one beggins with the pillar of autumn coming out of the slip space going towards halo halo reach ends with the pillar of autumn coming out of the slip space going towards halo its the same thing except reach has better graphics but it is 2010 vs 2001 so no wonder anyways halo one leaves off exactly where reach leaves off and i mean EXACTLY
