how does team fortress 2 compare to halo 3?

just contemplating getting it, but was curious as to what other people think about it....

Never played Halo 3. Team Fortress 2 is awesome, but it only has a few multiplayer maps and you can only play online. I think Halo 3 has a single player plus multiplayer.

(by the way, team fortress 2's graphics are cool, not a big factor, but still worth mentioning)
