How is Halo Reach 1st in the Halo game timeline if he dies?

I just got into Halo and played and beat Halo Reach but he died on the end so I'm a bit confused as to how it is the beginning of all the games.

Halo isn't about Master Chief anymore.

Different character. The character that dies at the end of Halo Reach is Noble 6, while the character that does Halo 1-3 is called Master Chief.

Master Cheif and Noble 6 are different Spartans, however, Master Cheif is on the planet at the same time though doing something else (If you read the original book)
