How long does it take to complete Halo 1?

Im just wondering, how long will it take for a person who's just started to play first person shooters, to complete Halo 1, the pc version, on easy level?

Also, if you're a first person shooter newbie, is it more fun to play on easy, normal or hard level?

Last thing, is the Half Life franchise better or the Halo franchise?
Can u tell me in terms of hours plz?

halos better, and its about 10 hour so probably couple of days

You could beat it in a day if you played all day..the campaign isn't long at all.

For a beginner start on easy to work out the controls, then progressively increase the difficulty as you become more comfortable.

Well..I'm a fan of both, but for me I prefer Halo.
