How long will Halo 3 be one of the most popular Xbox Live games?

I went and played some Halo 3 tonight because I haven't in a while and it feels like its still a brand new game. They are constantly updating it and making new map packs. Ever since it came out, it has almost always been the most played game on xbox live (currently its right behind cod5). How long will this last? Not many new games are coming out soon that will be able to compete with it. I think it will drop down once it gets toward the fall when all the best games come out.

I actually don't think it's even played that much anymore... I havn't played it in over 5 months! And COD5 and COD4 shuold be above it. Anyway I got tired of it quite a while ago, though I don't know how long it'll last
THough I can say that as soon as HALO 3 dies out, everyone's gonna start playing it again right before Halo Recon or Halo 4... have you seen the trailer for Halo 4? It's amazing!
