How many days would it take to get a replacement Halo 3 disc?

I heard that many of the limited edition halo 3 discs (the $70 version) are scratched and unfortunately I have one of them. After the fifth chapter of the game (with the Flood) the dashboard pops up with the "Disc Unreadable" message. I read that Microsoft is offering replacement discs from now until December 31st. If I send mine in, how long will it take to get a new one sent back to me?
I got it from Best Buy. They might still have some in stock because there was still a bunch of them yesterday afternoon. There was some marks on both discs but nothing that I assumed would damage them.

Well, I used to work at EB Games. I'm not sure if you got it from EB Games/GameStop or if they are any more in stock there, but we would definitely let you exchange it for another one as long as you were getting the same game. Your problem lies in the fact that you have a limited edition, so the store probably doesn't have any for you. Was the disc actually noticeably SCRATCHED or is it a glitch? Because I bought the $130 LE one and I haven't gotten that far in the game yet and I don't know if that's going to happen to me, too. I haven't noticed any scratches though.
