How to fix "Halo 1" lag on multiplayer?

That's my biggest problem now,I have "halo 1 pc" for windows vista and when I go to multiplayer,it's keep laging,can you help me with my problem??? Is there a solution anyway???

no i had that problem too. basically the lagging is caused by your internet connection and by how far you live away from the states (since the halo server originates from there) try playing combat arms or crossfire though. both are good games that you can download from the internet for free and its not like halo but its fun and sorta like call of duty modern warfare
