how to get halo on an itouch that is version 3.1.2?

how do u get halo for an itouch that is version 3.1.2

it is jailbroken and its the newest one (3rd generation)

i would really appreciate it if i found out how because whenever i downloaded it i get the icon but then when i click it, it opens then closes.......
