how to own in halo 3 multiplayer?

i am a fairly good player, i can accuractly use gernades, assassinate and head shot but there is still a bunch of people who just make me leave the game i am playing and get penalized because they are ****ing me off show much because of how much they are owning me.

these are ussually MLG players, if anyone has any tips on how to get as good as the MLG players that would be GREAT!

Just train and be patient u will be good if u play often

Plasma pistol and BR combo. Also, be smart. Aim for the head with BR, body shots with Assault rifle. Rocket Launchers are for noobs. Use your equipment.
