How to record videos in Halo 3?

I know it involves video cards and etc., but could anyone please explain in detail how to take direct game play (or theater) and upload/edit the footage on a PC?

I know you cant upload it from the site, but you can use a video capture card to record it, (or something like that)

you cant take a clip from the game and put in on your computer.
bungie said soon they will make a update and allow that in the future.
