I can't play multiplayer on Halo PC v.1.04. What's going on?

Every time I try, the message "You must have administrator privileges to download this required patch." pops up. I can't play multiplayer online on Halo anymore. I have to play on the LAN, or acquire a specific address, even then (For the address thing) that stupid message pops up. What patch is it talking about? What do I do?

You need to be the computer administrator. Meaning your computer account can create accounts,change other people's accounts, etc.
