I never played Halo and plan on buying Halo 3 with 360, should I buy the first 2?

in halo 1, the only reason you would get it is for the campaign or just to know the story line(by the way theres not much to it) otherwise multiplayer really bites. In halo 2 the campaign isnt really that great and I only played it to find out the story line(which once again isnt that great) the multiplayer is getting alot better and if you want Xbox live its a ton of fun to play. So its really up to you. If you really really want to know what happened, play xbox live on the second, or just play campaign and you have some extra money then you probably should get them.

Halo3 is better than 2 so get 3 u will understand the weapons just not as fast i getting 3 and i only borrowed 2 from my mfriend and played it 4 ten minutes!

Well your not missing much, All three around the same. If you don't care all that much and are only playing Halo for the game play Just buy Halo 3 and you will be fine. If you are a fanatic and must know every detail about the plot get 1 and 2. ( I don't think 1 plays on the 360, not sure though.)

I wasn't too impressed with the story line anyways. (I'm not that big into halo though). I do admit it is a fun game to play.

Well, if you want a money saver and you dont really plan to care about the story and go right for multiplayer just get the third one.

Yet you'll be comepley at a lost when it comes to the story if you dont at least play Halo 1.
