...you lose your rank as well? I was wondering this because most people quit games at the last second. Now if they ddi lose rank, why quit when you lose EXP. I saw a guy the other day rank 44, 7 exp and 138 games played, whats up with that? So if anyone can tell me the answer to my question, thanks. I'd love to get more than one answer =).

Your rank is dependent on how well you play against players of equal or greater ranking. But it only counts on completed matches, thus you will not lose rank by leaving early. Because so many people quit matches early, Bungie made it mandatory that you lose experience points. Experience is not as important as rank. If your tru-skill ranking is high enough your military rank increases even with out experience. Check out Bungie's website for more info.
