Im trying to install Halo 1 on my vista.?

It says i need administrative permission, but i am the administrator? Can anyone help me because I'm really confused. Thankyou
Oh and i have it installed but im trying to get that extra patch so i can play online.

Did you try right-clicking the patch .exe and running as administrator?

I can only say that I just installed and patched it and I know im the administrator and that it went over without a single hitch what so ever. Works great on 64 bit as well.
