In Halo 3, does a "Four Shot" with the Battle Rifle need the first three to be

aimed at the head? Best answer gets 10 extra points, I'm not new to halo at all but never tested it myself. I ask beacuse in Halo: Combat Evolved there was no need to aim at the head for the first 2 of the pistol's "3 shot".

only the fourth shot has to be at the head.
the first three can be anywhere else on the body.
