In the new odst game set, does the 2nd disc let you play halo 3 maps and...

...all of halo 3's features? Can you even play halo 3 on the 2nd disc from the odst set without the original halo 3 disc? will the maps be downloadable? or will we play straight from that disc?

The second disc from ODST will have the Halo 3 Matchmaking executable on it, meaning that disc will let you play the halo 3 multiplayer. It has all the currently released maps (herioc, legendary, cold storage) as well as the unreleased Mythic map pack.
