When you buy an xbox 360, does it come with any free live? Or was my friend lying... One more thing. How much data does Halo 3 Saved game take up? I mean like, when you make a person and u beat the campaign, how much data does the beaten campaign take up? Some people tell me it is 5-9 GB.

XBOX 360 LIVE: Yes you get a 48 Hour Trail of Xbox LIVE
Halo 3: Takes around 1-2 GB (Without Add ons)
Its takes around 4-5 GB if you download new maps or make videos ect

It's possible to get Live, it just depends on what package you purchase. Look on the box before you buy it, not all have free Live. It's definately not going to take up any GBs, probably megabytes or kilobytes.

it comes with a month i think . unless you get the elite you can get like 7 months... but each account can only have one free month if that makes sense.

When you purchase an Xbox 360 with a Hard Drive, which is not the cheapest one, it does come with 1 Free month of Xbox Live Gold. There are two types of Xbox Live service, Silver and Gold. Gold allows you to visit the Xbox Marketplace and play multiplayer as while Silver only allows visitation to the Marketplace.

No, it after you succesfully complete the campaign it wont be anywhere near 5 GB, seeing as how thats almost half of the Xbox's Memory in the first place.

As a final note for the Xbox live, simply buy and make an Xbox Live Gold Account which costs 50$ a year. (Not expensive at all)

You get a month free live when you buy a new 360. I'm told there's a way to get 3 free months, but I've not really bothered to look into it. As for the saved game, it depends what you do on it... Do you collect the skulls? What difficulty setting? The more you do the more memory it takes up. I don't know exactly how much though, but it's not much... You can complete loads of games, with add-ons (new maps downloaded etc) and you'll still have a lot of memory free.
