Is halo 1 combat envoled compatable with xbox 360?

I only have a Xbox 360 not a regular Xbox so I'm not sure if I can buy it

Both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 are compatible with the Xbox 360.

Just the problem is there is a minimum amount of glitches (Wikipedia) and Xbox LIVE for original Xbox games (Like Halo 2) don't work.
