Is Halo 3 really that great?

I've had my 360 and halo for about a month now and I'm not impressed. I've never played the others but still the campaign was ok, and multiplayer is boring to me.

It depends on the gamer. Some like more realistic games, while others more of fantasy games. I, myself enjoy Halo 3, online that is. The game itself is pretty boring to me. Matchmaking is pretty fun. But if you want to try out a great game, Call of Duty 4 is a great choice.
