No, Halo 3 is NOT the best game ever. The only people who will say yes are the people who only play what is big right now, meaning the most popular games. I love Halo 3, don't get me wrong, but just because it is modern and stuffed with the newest technology does not mean it is the best game EVER. Ok, say you were in the 1800's, and you somehow come to the time period, from the early PC and Playstation games, and you compare Halo 3 with all of those games, you would be like 'Wow! All these games. It's amazing. They are great!', and Halo 3 might be one of your favorite games, but you wouldn't say that it's the best. The game just isn't innovative enough, it doesn't bring enough new content to the table to be the BEST GAME EVER. Bungie did an excellent job with the game, but alot of what they put in there has been done before. I'm not saying that for a game to be the best game ever it has to have an entirely new premice, or genre, but it needs to be original. People like Halo 3, I like Halo 3, and Halo 3 may be your favorite game, but that doesn't mean that it is the best game ever. All I'm saying is there are many games for us to try, that we just may see as better than Halo 3. I am not a 'hater' of Halo 3, I play it like 2 hours everyday. I also play Resident Evil 4 alot, Paper Mario, Gears of War, Elder Scrolls 4, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Okami, Final Fantasy 7, System Shock 2, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Super Mario 64, Pac Man 2: The New Adventures, Super Mario World, Super Mario Cart and Half Life 2. All of these games bring something new, something we never did before. And they did it well. Halo 3 did what it did well, too. I know, people will be mad at me for saying this, but whatever. It's my opinion.
