Is the halo movie back on?

I heard it was being made but then was cancelled but.. then i heard it was back on so is it?

Not at the moment. Peter Jackson will direct it if it does eventually go ahead but you would be looking at very late next year before they could even start casting for it as Jackson is putting all his time into the hobbit just now. I also think they had trouble casting the part of master chief as they didnt want to use too much cgi with the character.
