Is there actually going to be a halo movie If so when?

I heard it got put on hold, It got canceled because it cost to much, and that they just stopped making it what the truth is there still going to be a halo movie?

there are many that will say that it is still under works, and yes there have been rumors of new attempts a reviving it to life.

But Officially: In Nov 2007 after two design teams failed to work together, plans for a movie were scratched by the company making it.

There has not been a official attempt to start work again
