Is there any way to get HALO 3 : ODST without pre ordering it?

It comes out at midnight, but i just decided that i want to buy it. Am i going to have to wait another few weeks until they're back in stock, or could i get in line without pre-ordering?

Don't worry, just take your time and even tomorrow, there will be plenty of leftover versions available. They do not run out that quickly, because when its a big title like this they massively overstock the item because they know this will happen.

just go to the store and buy it. you really think they are only going to make enough for pre orders and that's it. they will pump out millions of copies of that game so there will be plenty left to get one. just go to best buy, walmart, ebgames, gamestop, target, kmart, etc. on the 22nd and buy one, problem solved. but the midnight release is usually just for pre orders.

Yes you can buy it. You can get in line no problem. The thing about Pre-Ordering is that (besides from the pre-order bonuses) you will for sure get a copy. It's like a reservation, except for a game and not a hotel room.

So if you get in line, chances are you'll get your hands on a copy, unless they run out. Which I doubt.
